FanimeCon 2013
NorCal Summer 2013 Cosplay Gathering

Well, Fanime 2013 is less than two weeks away at this point.  Got another chunk of the backlog done and will (hopefully) soon start uploading photos from last year's Fanime (just have to select the photos that are good to upload here, and keep the numbers down...planning 100 total for all of last year's con).

(Edit: Scratch that 100...with so many shots from last year, I was lucky to pare it down to 250!)

It's going to be interesting to see how things work out as far as doing cosplay photography goes, with the expansion/renovation construction ongoing and (at least as of this writing) the old courtyard torn out and waiting to be redone.  Not sure how much is going to be done in the next two weeks (or less as the case may be), but it may be a year where it'll be back to hallway photography.  Not the most ideal of situations.  Still I have two shoots in the works, and there'll still be a few gatherings outside in some spots, so that's a bright spot there.

Still, like a lot of folks out there, it's time to start buttoning down and get ready for the con!  It's almost here!
